Jonathan is a property professional with over 35 year’s experience across retail, commercial and industrial real estate, including 20 years focusing on retail property and national retail network growth. He was the Property Director for Metcash for over 15 years and is a foremost expert in the valuation of supermarkets and shopping centres. He is a qualified property and business valuer, and an Associate of the Australian Property Institute.

For 15 years Jonathan was a senior executive responsible for business development and property at Metcash Food and Grocery, a division of the ASX top 100 company, Metcash Limited.  At Metcash, Jonathan and his national team delivered over $1billion of additional wholesale sales to the group, through new store network planning and development.

Over the past 20 years Jonathan has completed a wide range of specialist valuation and advisory reports including rental determinations, export witness and investment / development assessments. Property categories include supermarkets, general and specialist retail, commercial office, industrial, childcare and medical practice uses.

Jonathan’s prior experience also extends to property and development management, specialized real estate consultancy advice to major banks, institutional and private investors, and State and Local Governments.
